Overhead door and dock technician
Candoor Overhead Door Ltd is a overhead door service and installation company based out of Mississauga, Ontario (servicing GTA and the surrounding areas). We provide services in residential, commercial and industrial applications and we are seeking a new technician to add to our team for commercial and industrial service/installations.
This individual must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of overhead doors (sectional, rolling steel and high speeds), dock systems, truck restraints, and fire doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, repairs and maintenance on overhead door and dock equipment
- Load and unload vehicles
- Maintain work truck (re-stock truck, keep tools/parts organized and report any issues with the vehicle to management)
- Troubleshoot problems and providing solutions
- Supervising and teaching apprentices while on site
- Taking the lead role while on service calls and installation jobs
- On-call rotation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical applications
- Ability to work at heights is a must
- “G” class license
- Ability to drive and operator forklifts and scissor lifts
- Excellent customer service abilities and communication with our customer/ office staff
- 2-3 years experience in the overhead door and dock industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to write and communicate in English

Sales representative
Candoor Overhead Door Ltd is a overhead door service and installation company based out of Mississauga, Ontario (servicing GTA and the surrounding areas). We provide services in residential, commercial and industrial applications and we are seeking a sales representative to add to our team for commercial and industrial division.
We are looking for a self motivated individual, that can work independently and is interested in growing with our company. Sales leads will be given but this applicant will be expected to generate sales as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with new and existing customer
- Maintain leads and follow ups
- Quote new work and repairs in a timely fashion
- Schedule sales appointments and site meetings
- Generate new customers and expand the current customer base
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Work on targeting new customers and industries
Skills and Qualifications:
- Self starter and motivated individual
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Urgency on customer service
- Ability to do take offs and provide follow up quotes in a timely fashion
- Mechanical and technical aptitude is an asset
- Good computer skills
- Experience within the overhead door industry is not a must but it would be an asset
- A valid driver’s license
